The reason I do it all
My wife, Jessie, and I met while in college at Utah State University. We were married in the summer of 2004. Since then, we've have four children: Breanne, Janey, Cailin and Leo. Jessie is pregnant with our fifth, another girl. We currently live in San Jose, CA but will soon be moving to Utah for a new job opportunity. This means a lot of excitement and anxiety for our family, but we think it will be great in the end. A few reasons we decided to do this:
- We'll be closer to nearly all our family
- Utah Valley is way more affordable than Silicon Valley
- The new job provides a great salary and benefits, and will be a great place to work
At first the kids were very sad at even the idea of having to leave California; they'll really miss their friends. But now they're used to the idea, and even exicted to be able to go to a new school and meet new friends. They're also aware that by saving money they'll be able to do more activities and they'll be near their extended family.
